Our products are entirely handmade by genuine artisans who combine traditional craftsmanship with high-technology manufacture, pursuing the highest quality standards.
The production process adheres to environmentally-friendly and sustainable practices. All of our suppliers have an energy-efficient philosophy and guarantee a slave-free workplace.
The primary material for your new glasses is cotton acetate, a purely organic product. Acetate is 100% biocompatible and antiallergenic. It’s distinct and sturdy quality makes it stand way above modern plastics.
Skilled craftsmen mill and carefully shape the acetate panels three-dimensionally by hand. Front of temples thus receive their final shape.
With masterly expertise panels of different thicknesses and structures are turned into little pieces of art as known in traditional woodcraft.
This is followed by a first polishing procedure at which the semifinished pieces spend days in wooden tumbling drums with bamboo grit added. Afterwards heat and pressure will be applied to workpieces to give them their perfect technical and anatomical form.
An implemented metal core provides stability to the temples – hinges will be submerged in the process.
All individual parts will now be precisely assembled. A final polishing brings out the sheer depth and warm glow of this perfect natural material.
The sophisticated skills of our craftsmen and final thorough inspections create a product which we are sure you will enjoy for many years.
